I had the fun job of delivering letters to everyone in our ward who is going on our trek. Zane was nice enough to play along as the Pony Express rider but he brought a horse for me too! It was so fun to ride right up to people's doors to hand them their letter. The youth really got excited. I think the adults thought I was just plain crazy to be out in the pouring rain. And I mean pouring!
Here I am handing a letter to the girl across the street from us.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun! It was definately fun to hear the comments at church today.
Look at my early Mother's Day present. For those of you that REALLY know me, I love horses and have always wanted another one (I had one when I was a teenager). So because my hubby loves me so much, he got me not one but three horses. Heehee. Not really - but I wish. Actually they liked us all so much they wanted to stay longer.
The gang slept over in our backyard last night and here they are just hanging out. It was so fun. Camden loved them (but I think Brennen loved them the most) and was not afraid to stick those apples right up in their mouths. You can hear him call them "Yeehaws". Actually, Zane didn't want to have to take them clear back to the ranch past Park City last night and then go back up this morning to feed them so I said, "what the hay? (get it?) Just let them stay here. Even the neighbors loved it - too bad they had to go home. It was an easy way to get the lawn mowed, fertilized, and aerated at the same time!
Since I'll be the keeper of this site - this is me. I love my grandkids, family gatherings, our lot, vacations, chocolate and making quilts and videos. Oh - and did I say I love being a grandma?
