I love these books!

I just finished the third and final book in Nancy Turner's series based on diaries of her great grandmother. They remind me of my own grandmother and how she took care of everyone around her just like Sarah did in these books. What strong, amazing women and great examples to all of us. I highly recommend these books - well worth reading! The author posted a picture of the real Sarah on her website, she is the second from the right with her mother on the far right, her daughter second from left and granddaughter on the left. The granddaughter is the author's mother as a young girl.
