What fun it is when Grandma's sick!

I am really TIRED of feeling yuck! This is the third time around for this gunk. As you can see, I have lots of people (Spartan thinks he's a person) trying to cheer me up and make me feel better. Doesn't this look cozy?

I need to blow some steam!!!

I have not been watching this show but I did see the last 5 minutes the other night. I saw Donald Jerk Trump yelling at this guy and telling him that he was vicious and mentioned the other character flaws he had. Then he turned to Trais Adkins and told him what a great guy he was and he really liked and admired him. And I was told that most of the other contestants said he should pick Adkins to win. But the killer was he then turned to the British guy and told him he was the winner. This really really BUGS me! What kind of message is this sending the world? Good guys never win? Only the vicious and egotistical back stabbers make it? I shouldn't let this bother me but it sure has. The power of the media. And a good opportunity to turn it into a teaching moment - at least discuss it. Sorry, I just had to vent.

Camden is 2!

Happy Birthday to Camden today. He is such a sweet little guy and we have soooooo much fun with him.

Meili is much happier now that she has finally cut her first tooth. Time to start dying those eggs!

Wishin' We Had Been There!

Gary went with Brennen to West Yellowstone this past weekend for a snowmobile expo. They got to check out the new sleds and watch the races. This is Gary and Brennen jumping their sleds. (Not really, but they'd like to dream!) Welcome home ---we missed you!

A great big happy birthday wish for Casey on your big 24th! Hope you had a great day.

We had a great visit with a family (the Feredays) from England that Gary got to know very well on his mission a million years ago. We've kept in contact with them and finally got to see them in person this past fall. It was so fun and they are such nice people! Paula just emailed us a picture from that visit so here's to serving the Lord, old friends, keeping in touch and finally meeting!

Congratulations!

Garon surprised us all at dinner tonight by announcing that he had proposed to Whitney. He was racing cars in Wendover (legally - heehee) and she was riding along with him. Just as he hit about 120 mph he whipped out a box with the ring and asked if she would marry him. I think she was afraid he'd crash if she said no. Not really. As you can see by her face she is quite excited. No date yet.

Our quick trip to Seattle

Gary and I and Becky and Mike drove up to Washington to visit with my dad who was quite ill. We drove up one day, stayed for two and drove back home. It's a good thing Becky's car is comfy because we were in it for 16 hours straight for the drive home. The scenery was beautiful and seeing the Space Needle was lots of fun. I haven't been back to see it since the World's Fair which was like forever ago. In the 60's? (click on the photo to enlarge it)
