An Attitude of Gratitude

My beautiful trees!

My flowering pear trees are absolutely beautimous this year. No - not even any photoshop on this picture. Too bad they are in the side yard and I have to go outside to see them.

A Little Boy's Best Friend

The trusty watchdog making sure little doot doot stays nice and warm while he's taking his nap.

Another Quilt

I just finished this baby quilt for one of my favorite former Young Women who had a baby shower from the ward last night. She is such a happy cheerful (and crazy) girl who has gone through some extremely heartbreaking times over the past 2 years so I had to make her a happy cheerful (and a little wild) quilt for her baby boy. Congratulations Missy! Spartan had to check it out too. Do you think he approved?

Busy Quilting

I got two quilt tops done during the past few days but my knee still bothers me when I kneel down so I recruited Mikie P. to pin my quilt tops. He did a great job and I told him he'll have to come help every time now.

The finished products - yes, I sewed all weekend to get them quilted and bound. This quilt is for Becky's friend who is battling cancer. It turned out to be one of my all time favorites. I loved the red, black, and cream colors.

This is a memory quilt for a friend of mine whose son died recently. She has also lost another son. She is a great example of someone who lives by the Spirit and she has a quiet dignity about her. I wanted to do a cheerful and fun quilt for her so I combined a few different patterns and came up with this. It has her son's initials in the circles. Do you like?

Silly Boy!

Both pictures of Tyler from Halloween were with this silly face. Typical 4 year old. So Gwauma had to turn him into the beest - I mean angel? - that he really is.
What do you think TyTy?
